What is External Counterpulsation (ECP) ?

ECP is a non-surgical, FDA cleared therapy process that can enhance blood flow reducung symtoms of chronic stable angina.

How does ECP Therapy work?

During ECP Therapy, a technician wraps inflatable cuffs (similar to blood pressure cuffs) around your calves, thighs and hips. The cuffs are timed to inflate and deflate between heartbeats. This external counterpulsation process helps more oxygenated blood travel to and from the heart muscle more quickly, significantly enhancing blood flow, thereby reducing angina and related symptoms.
